Change at Tebunus: Full Focus on Tube Bending

Sometimes in your career or business operations, there comes a moment when you get the chance to look back and make a conscious choice for the future. For us, that moment came on October 28, when we said farewell to Peter de Vries. After many years of dedication at Tebunus Tube Trading, Peter has retired to enjoy his well-deserved free time in beautiful Groningen.

This farewell also gave us the opportunity to reflect on the future of our company. For many years, trading in heat exchanger tubes for the (petro)chemical industry has been an important part of Tebunus Tube Trading. But the question we asked ourselves was: is this still the future for us? After careful consideration, our answer was: no. That’s why we have decided to fully focus on where our heart and craftsmanship truly lie—tube bending.

The bending of hairpins (U-tubes) for heat exchangers and condensers will be continued under Tebunus Tube Bending. With the same dedication and craftsmanship you’ve come to expect from us, we will remain at your service. This focus on bending allows us to further optimize and innovate our quality, close to home and aligned with a sustainable future. In a world where CO₂ reduction is becoming increasingly important, we believe that production within Europe—and within the Netherlands—is the way forward.

With this step, we strengthen our position as a specialist and remain committed to being your reliable partner for all your tube bending projects. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for more information about hairpin bending, or to discuss how we can support your project.
