Step by step toward a more sustainable future—literally.

Every month, as a team, we review our goals and results, and we notice that sustainability is becoming an increasingly important part of these conversations. We’re making great progress: from switching to LED lighting and installing a heat pump to waste separation and metal recycling. But it’s not only the big projects that count; the small initiatives also make a big difference.

Our guys are literally taking big steps—in their work shoes. When those wear out, I now bring them to De Mulders. They collaborate with FastFeetGrinded, who recycle the shoes and turn them into new products—like the floor at De Mulders itself. A perfect closed loop, how cool is that!

So, the harder the guys work, the more shoes we can recycle. A real win-win situation, don’t you think?
